1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk.V converted to a Seafire Mk.IIc

Airfix yet again but the Mark V kit, with added strengthening strips for catapult launching, catapult spools etc. The wings were modified to “c” armament. 880 Sqn, FAA, HMs Indomitable, March 1943. This model features a fully detailed cockpit (mainly scratchbuilt), vacuform canopy and reworked undercarriage. 

My collection of Merlin engine Spits is not yet complete. I still have some way to go.
