1/32 Trumpeter Curtiss P-40 B "Flying Tigers"

So, here are a few photos of my 1/32 scale Trumpeter Curtiss P-40B I completed a few months ago.

I could not finish her by not going with one of the most famous deco ever worn by a fighter...  Therefore, I chose the markings of an aircraft of the 1st Squadron of the Flying Tigers AVG, but not the machine of an ace.

I preferred this time make her in a more anonymous look, painting the plane flown by one of those "ordinary pilots" who were there to do the job, even though they never became neither aces, nor famous.

His name was Henry Gesselbracht and this is not sure if he could get one kill confirmed...

And remains the inalterable truth that P-40B with a shark mouth will always have "a damned look"!

Enjoy the pictures...
