Here is an unusual
bird that was in its final stages of development in 1945 and never reached the
production lines. Following my visit at the Garber Facility, I was able to have
a close look at the last remaining aircraft of the kind and pick the whim of the
wooden structure and the camouflage pattern. Dragon's feature is the only of its
kind for the 1/48 but certainly cannot be considered among their finest.
