Since the release of the very nice 1/24 Spitfire Mk.V from Trumpeter, there have been some minor points made about the accuracy of the upper cowl.  

Cutting Edge has come to the rescue with a more accurate resin upper cowl.  This part should easily replace the kit part with no modifications.  This resin part is as thin as a plastic part and is hollowed out on the backside to make it effortless to install.

Detail is beautifully done and the resin casting is bubble free and flawless.  The overall shape of this resin replacement part seems to more accurately capture the look of the Mk. V engine cowl.
