in Norway, Jever in 1940.
This is a early-war paint scheme of overall RLM 71/02 on top and
RLM 65 on the sides and underside.
The spinner is green and has a white or rLM 65 band next to the
engine cowl. There are large white 'N 7' on the side of the
fuselage.
The third
aircraft is a Bf-109D-1
of 12.(N)/JG 2 flown in Norway, in 1940.
This is a early-war paint scheme of overall RLM 71/02 on top and
RLM 65 on the sides and underside.
The spinner is green. There
are large yellow 'N 11' on the side of the fuselage.
The
fourth aircraft is a
Bf-109D-1
of 1./ZG
2 flown in
August, in 1939.
This is a early-war paint scheme of overall RLM ?/70 on top and RLM
65 on the sides and underside.
The spinner is green with a white tip. There
are large white '2' on the side of the fuselage. Artwork includes a
black hand print on a solid white circle on the engine cowl as well as an
odd looking (Goblin?) character in a red circle....see scan at the top
